How the Trash Monsters arrived
Very little is known about the first sightings of the Trash Monsters, they begin to show up in the most remote areas, and at first they were whispered about as myths.
Later they began to show up across the world in the lower areas of the major cities and coutries of the world.
After a few decades, they began to establish colonies of monsters in sewage systems and other underground areas. Before long the foul miasma that they excrete began to cause casualties to the people in the vicinity.
At the time humanity had no idea what the cause of these deaths was, and it took another couple decades before any major discoveries were made about the presence of the miasma and its deadly effects.
